St. Martin’s Day is a centuries-old tradition in Hungary. On 11 November, we honor the legacy of Saint Martin with festive goose dishes. According to folklore, those who enjoy goose on this day will not go hungry all year — and we’re proud to keep this delicious tradition alive. At SIMALIBA Belvárosi Csárda, goose isn’t just seasonal – it’s a signature part of our menu year-round. But between 8 and 16 November, we’re celebrating with a special St. Martin’s Day menu and festive atmosphere.
